Meraki MX68W location change Alerts

Hello,

I have handful of locations using MX68W and would like to know if there is a way to get notified if the location of the appliance has been changed? I know I can depend on ISP ip address change, but that could be a false alarm since most of the ISP use DHCP. I also know that I am going to get a message that the site is down while it has been moved to the new location but that can only be true for few hours until the appliance is connected in the new location.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately not.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Going sideways, some of the MG gateways (like the MG51) have a GPS chip in them.  It doesn't do anything at the moment.  There has been some talk of functionality being enabled in the future.

If you used an MG for a backup link on the MX68W then perhaps this might help you in the future.

Keep an eye out of new features being rolled out in the MG series.  🙂
