Using a GR10 outdoor access point with newer switches and APs.

Hi - I have a small network setup using GS110 switches and GR12 APs.  I want to add an outdoor access point but I cannot get hold of any apart from an old GR10.

Are the GR10 outdoor access points still supported?  If so, will it cause any issues connecting it into my small network?  I suspect they don't support mesh?

Thanks, D.

hello @dlittlewood

The GR10 is an indoor wifi-5 access-point. GR60 would be the outdoor version.

You can add the GR10 to your network, not sure how it will affect the speed of your wifi-network. There should be no connection issues.

yes sorry GR60 is the one I can get hold of.  I will be connecting this into a network with the 'newer' APs.

It should work.

The GR60's End of Support is Apr 24, 2025. Just like the GS110.
