I have a BYOD network setup in an office. Two SSIDs setup for guest/phone. I have a policy to bypass the splash page for workers after they get approval. Add a new client > put in their MAC > apply policy to the BYOD SSID. This had worked for a long time without much problems.
This week we had a user get a new iPhone and he gets the splash page no matter what I do. The next day a user who just updated to the newest IOS has the same problem. Tried re-adding their MAC address and applying policy multiple times. Tried white-listing them completely on the SSID as a test. Rebooted APs. Fixed IP assignments. Nothing worked. Nothing in the event logs to give me any insight to what's going on.
Anybody else experiencing something like this?

Heh, yeah, I don't actually hate them. Quite like them actually. Just had a "frustrating" moment trying to deploy a Meraki network on a tight schedule overseas.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to have them turn it off as a test.
Hi @Ihatemerakis , good suggestion. Understand your frustration when you’re up against it
Yeah - iOS 14 looks the culprit. NB. This Q should probably have gone in the Wireless LAN discussion... Wireless WAN is for MG21 stuff 😁

I'll move it! Thanks for the heads up, @GreenMan
Hi @GreenMan didnt even notice that piece! I just saw Wireless
Sorry about the miss-class, but yeah, that certainly did the trick. Thank you! I don't keep up with IOS features and had no idea this was a thing, very interesting though.
Thanks everyone!
Awesome. Glad it resolved your issue.
Good luck with the rest of your project
