Wireless Coverage

I was reading up on coverage for MR devices and came accross this,

For long ranges, it's important to accurately place your access points on Dashboard. Geographic positions in Dashboard are used to tune radio parameters and improve performance.

Are they talking about making sure you select for example Australia?

Kind of a big deal

I legit didn't or (or don't think) that where you place the AP within the dashboard on the Map & Floor Plans section has anything to do with anything but I've been wrong before. Document seems...outdated =/

I can't see anythig that suggests the algorithym takes into account where you say the APs are placed.
