Wireless Bridge between 2 buildings

Hello everybody,

we need to connect 2 buildings - 2 networks with a wifi bridge at gigabit speed.

The network uses vlan trunks, distance about 30 meters.

Can you suggest units?

Thank you,

A Meraki solution probably won’t meet your needs as it can’t hand off multiple VLANs from the remote access point, so you won’t be able to use trunks to it. Have a look at this document, https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/WiFi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Extending_the_LAN_with_a_Wireless...

There’s a few other vendors out there who provide specific wireless bridge solutions, and I’d have a look at them.

30 meters.  Is there no chance you can't run fire?  Perhaps a chain between the building roofs and run the fibre over that, along a fence, in a trench, etc?
