Will IPS setting affect all VLANs?

Hi guys, if set IPS (threat protection) to protection, will it be applied to all VLANs (staff vlan and guest vlan)? It is not possible to set IPS under group policy, but AMP can. Anyone please advise. Thanks in advance.

"Intrusion detection feeds all packets flowing between the LAN and Internet interfaces and in-between VLANs through the SNORT® intrusion detection engine"
