What are the scenarios I can get Deauth with reason code = 2 PREV_AUTH_NOT_VALID

I have a wpa_supplicant client connecting and I frequently see Deauth with reason code = 2 PREV_AUTH_NOT_VALID

I don't know the answer.

 

It sounds like it is not releasing previously cached credentials (possibly a cached key).  You could drive updating the drivers on the device.
