UNII-3

Just curious as someone who lives in Sweden, will upcoming APs be certified for UNII-3 over here?

And if so when will they get released?

Kind of a big deal

In European nations, Spectrum Usage is controlled by European Union’s European Commission. The EU has appointed the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, ETSI to set and administer the standards spectrum users must adhere to and the European Conference of Postal & Telecommunications Administrations, CEPT as the regulator. CEPT has a broad remit, the relevant division as far as Wi-Fi is concerned is the CEPT Electronic Communications Committee, ECC. Most nations have their own Spectrum Regulator . . .

From 1 November 2018, we can use UNII-3 frequencies in Sweden indoors without DFS with a maximum output of 25mw (14dbm) EIRP.

I would check that the appropriate Meraki person is aware of this amendment.
