Per-User VLAN Tagging...

Hi all!

In Meraki documentation page: https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Client_Addressing_and_Bridging/VLAN_Tagging there's seems to be a way to assign users to a specific vlan id via group policy.

Unfortunately I can't assign users, just devices to the group policy? I'm looking at Network-wide->Configure->Group Policies.

My main purpose is to create a "room-user" for pupils so they can access a specific vlan just for internet and the beamer in the this room. For security reasons, the teacher needs to activate and let expire this users. Surely we may handle this via AD and RADIUS, but if that's possible via meraki user management it would be also very nice 🙂

Any ideas?

BR Mike

You would need an external user database to handle the attribute for vlan assignment.

Meraki user management does not support this.
