Mesh AP on a mobile platform

I am looking into the possibility of mounting an AP in mesh mode onto a mobile platform (think of a mobility scooter), and have a number devices connect to this AP through the Ethernet port. I understand the concepts and restrictions of doing this, I want to know if anyone has tried this - so basically using the repeater AP as a 'client bridge' - what is the roaming like as the AP moves from one root AP to another. The AP will not be broadcasting an SSID and only the devices connected the ethernet port will be communicating with other systems.

Any thoughts - experiences doing this?

It won't work. Meraki APs don't act like client bridges/clients in such that they won't roam seamlessly. The mesh process takes time to form a connection.

You'd want to use something like an autonomous Cisco AP in universal workgroup bridge mode.
