Meraki MR57 - turn off 2nd 5Ghz radio?

Hi,

We have a load of MR57's to deploy (replacing MR53) and have a fixed channel design so don't really want each AP using the 2nd 5Ghz channel as it might affect neighbouring AP's? I can't see a way to turn off the 2nd 5Ghz radio and you can't assign the same channel as the 1st 5Ghz radio. Can anyone assist or advise please?

You can put 1 radio on the 6ghz.

If you dont want to use it for a ssid you can turn it off in the rf profile.

It sounds like you need a new design ...

What you are saying is you want to reduce the functionality of the equipment to fit into your design rather than changing your design to maximise the capabilities of the equipment you have.

lol what? Who knows.. maybe the site is massive and so re-designing is going to take a long time,in the interim period they can swap out like-for-like with the channel design but have the Wi-Fi 6 functionality they didn't have with the MR53s

Quick update - 41 AP's replaced and not a single issue reported, happy with that.
