MR45E for when ?

Hi community ! may one of you know if now MERAKI will launch soon a 802.11ax AP with external antennas ? MR45E would make sense to have the equivalent of Cisco 9115AXE, and fit the need for high-density environments like ExpoHalls/Public Event Areas... Thanks.

Kind of a big deal

I can see a lot of complexity, as it will need a whole new set of antennas with different spatial seperation.

If you are wanting high density it would be the MR55E.  That has 10 radios - so 10 antenna cables ...  (8 spatial radios and a scanning radio and a blue tooth radio).

Can you imagine how thick that will be if all put into one cable and one connector?

HI Philip. nobody sais it has to be done within one single cable. Cisco Antennas often has several (5 to 6 was the maximum today) thin coax entering into a patch for example at each corner of the antenna. it's fine. and anyway the market is expecting an 'E' 11ax-AP from MERAKI, otherwise we will loose some opportunities face to competition or even Cisco traditional with 9115AXE... Hoping MERAKI will not wait to long now
