MR18 under canopy for homelab use

I have a question for you about a home-lab installation.
does anyone have any experience with an MR18 outside? of course protected from the rain under a canopy, I would also insulate the connectors.
According to the data sheet go only to 0 degrees, what would be at -10degrees?

Someone has an experience?

Since it is only lab, a real outdoor AP is not really worth it.
...or Meraki can donate me an AP here? 😎

I would try putting it in a small ABS IP67 rated electrical enclosure.  They are cheap.

One of your risks will be condensation forming and those water droplets shorting the unit out.  Or the water drops freezing, expanding, and breaking internal components.

The plastic might not be UV stabilized either, and could become brittle in continuous sunlight exposure.

after a long time of back and forth, I prefer to think about using an MR70.

I had not thought about the UV radiation, good hint 🙂
