MR Issues

At the moment we are only seeing 18 clients through wi-fi data and almost 110 clients through Bluetooth data excluding headphones & PoS what is happening with the other wi fi data. From a customer count we are only counting 20% of customers compared to 85% previously. Can someone from Cisco Meraki answer.

its better to call support or create a support case.

they can take a look at what you are seeing.

Yeah, better call Meraki support.

They´ll help you much faster. Its not sure if someone from Meraki staff will read this.

Raised with support just wondering if people are seeing similar things with MAC randomization. Would suit us better to get full raw data and let us deal with the randomisation issue.

@Limitless Meraki stopped counting random MAC addresses a little while ago, there are posts on here explaining the details.  The best one is here: https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless-LAN/MAC-IOS-Randomization-quot-Fix-quot-results-in-70x-drop...

This does not resonate with clients who replaced footfall systems with Meraki throughout their centers. Now it looks like this use case is gone.

@Limitless if you log a support ticket you might be able to get them counted, it is just that by default they are not counted.
