Is it possible to clear the event log

Apologies if this is a daft question, but is it possible to clear the event log?
In order to test the firewall and content filtering settings we have attempted to access numerous sites which we do not really want to show in future event log exports!

Thank you in advance

To my knowledge, you can't clear the event log. Why would you want to anyway, you've provided it for security/auditing sake? I'd just disregard those entries.

Kind of a big deal

Haha!  That's kinda funny. Logs full of blocked porn sites from your workstation... I understand why you wouldn't want that history in there. Though it might be fun explaining to the CIO that it was "For Science!" 😉

If this is really a problem then I'd suggest cloning a new network based on your current settings, move the MX over there, do the testing, then move it back and delete the network. Event logs are network specific so if you do your testing in a dummy network that's been deleted there will be no trace of them going forward.

Thanks @jdsilva, yeah, I don't fancy my chances of them letting em get away with reams of porn history in the next board meeting!

Thanks for the suggested fix, I'll give that a go - hopefully save some blushes!! 🙂

Cheers
