How to make ssid emoji in meraki?

Hi friends, I'm working on the project where the customer is request me to create a SSID + emoji in side. Has anyone implemented a similar solution yet?

I just copied am emoij from the emojipedia site into an SSID and was able to see it, and it appeared as a WiFi network that I could select from my notebook.  No special tricks were required.  I am using firmware version 25.10.

Two or three years ago, right to left languages and diacriticals were mostly not recognised as SSID or part of SSID names. The world has caught up and one of the side effects has been that we can do emojis.

👯‍♀️ <-- that didn't work. The MS emojis are sub-optimal.

You are relying on universal Unicode support for this to work in clients.

I would expect to have lots of compatibility issues with client devices.

I'd just like to chime in to say that I approve wholeheartedly of this thread. More emojis = more happiness (except, perhaps, in the case of the strange dancing girls emoji, @Uberseehandel! 😛)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, this has bought out some laughter in my office now there is a 💩 SSID that shows up in our list of wireless networks.

My test was conducted on a 🐕Ruckus network running firmware 10.0.1.0 Build 17
