How to configure DHCP servers for AP's in bridged mode?

Hello all/., We will be using AP's in bridged mode so need to configure a list of DHCP servers for these AP's

1. Where abouts are  the dhcp servers configured ?

2. Do the ip addresses of these DHCP servers need to be in the included allowed  Vlans of the  trunk to the outside?

Your local bridge/vlan needs a dhcp server in that vlan (can be the l3 gateway itself)  or the gateway can forward the request  to another routable ip.

For example all mx can run dhcp server and ms250 and up

Hello and thank you so say your AP is

192.168.10.2 /24

Then your DHCP server needs to be

192.168.10.X/24 as well?

So this vlan also needs trunking up to the core as well then, yes?

Up to the Core or to whatever device has the gateway-IP for this VLAN. Sometimes it will be the firewall, for example for a guest VLAN.

If you are bridging a remote network to a local network - the DHCP used on the local network will also be used for the remote network.
