How do I configure MR 33 in repeater mode ?

Team, I already have a broadband router from my service provider, which is on the ground floor

 

I want to user MR33 on as an extension of wifi to 2nd floor,

 

how do I configure MR33 in repeater mode ?

It doesn't need any configuration. Give it power and make sure it's claimed into the correct network, in due time you should see it come online as a repeater.

Only works with meraki products  2x MR. 

Not with just any router

 

You can use it as extension using a utp  cable  to your corrent (wifi)router, put mr ssid in bridge mode, and use the same ssid as you router.

Ah good catch! Shows I shouldn't skim read a post. Yes, MR's can only mesh with other MRs. You *cannot* configure an MR to repeat any non-MR networks, this includes MX with Wireless.
