How can I check the live bitrate, spatial streams and channel width for a client?

Hi!

I can see channel and signal level and the capabilities of a client.

In addition I would like to check the live bitrate, spatial streams and channel width for a client? Where can I see these?

My idea would be to see if the client is actually using its capabilities.

Thanks for some ideas!

Best regards,

Michael

The other thing you can do, is when the laptop is connected to your Meraki AP, access this URL which is the local status page for the AP your client is connected to at the time. Gives you some info there as well.

You have to look on the client itself.

For example on windows at cmd: netsh wlan show interface

Best Windows 10 tool (by far) is this:  https://www.helge-keck.com/

When you connect to your wireless, fire it up and select the Network Name your connected to. Then click on Dashboard and it will give you plenty of info, plus more.

Hi!

I really like

http://my.meraki.com/

😀

because It works OS, client independent and it completes the information I can get from the client itself.

Thanks,

Michael
