Help! Meraki AP can't Connect to local Internet

Hi! I'm at a complete loss here.

My Meraki MR33 is working fine when I connected it Directly to our Modem-Router but now when I connected it to our firewall the Led indicator is steady orange. How to tackle? 😞

Kind of a big deal

Are you able to access the local status page to see what it is telling you? Sounds like it simply cannot connect to the Internet.

What kind of FW is it? Assuming your using some sort of non-PoE power source for the AP if your directly plugging into a FW. You'll want to verify the FW port is setup like an access port, trunking etc. See if the FW has rules that are blocking the Meraki from reaching the cloud.

In the Merkai dashboard go Help/Firewall Info.  Make sure you firewall is allowing all of the traffic listed.

I'm with @NolanHerring and @PhilipDAth here. Have a look on the local status page and make sure the firewall allows the connection.
