Disable all SSID ?

Hello,

Does anyone know how any way to disable all SSID ?

I got this annoying red message saying :

"At least one of your SSIDs must be enabled"

This looks like to a crazy limitation to me.

Regards,

Alexandre.

You should be able to turn off the last required SSID using SSID Availability. Just set it to unavailable for all times.

You can disable power on the switchports facing your AP's.

You can remove the AP's from your network, and re-add when you are ready to broadcast.

Easiest and only solution that I can think of is to tie each SSID to a TAG.

So if you have three SSIDs, create a unique TAG for each one.

Then under SSID Availability, change the Per-AP Availability so that the SSID is only enabled on 'some' and not 'all' by default.

Then insert the tag you want to use.

Then on the access point view, remove the tags from the AP and it won't broadcast any.

All these "tips" actually work, many thanks.

I can't believe I have to "cheat" for that and just cannot disabled all SSID.
