Connecting an Echo to Meraki mesh WiFi with a captive portal.

Trying to connect an Amazon Echo and smart outlets to a Meraki mesh WiFi network that uses a captive portal. The connection is to the guest network at an assisted living facility. I’ve tried using a travel nano router by TP-Link, but it doesn’t see the SSID. I see the BSSIDs of the multiple Meraki APs. However, the SSID does show up on my phone and the list of available networks on my laptop.

Any my suggestions would be appreciated.

White list the mac address of the echo and it will bypass the splash screen.

You may need to add the mac address first because before connecting it to wifi.
