Change the Unique Identifier of the location result of Cisco Meraki AP

Is there a way to change the unique identifier of the location result from Cisco Meraki access points? or any workaround to distinguish a certain device/client from the location scanning API result.

Our goal is distinguish a device from the location result given by the Cisco Meraki. But according to the Android OS updates, from Android 11 onwards the fetching of the MAC address programmatically will not be possible.

From Android 11 onwards, MAC Address will be only restricted to system apps.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

When an Android or Apple device connects to WiFi they will use the same MAC address as last time.  However then they are not connected, they use a random privacy MAC address.

There is nothing you can do about this.  What a pain huh?
