API Access to Event Log

Hi all, I can't seem to find any information on this. So it's either painfully obvious or doesn't exist -- can I pull event logs via the API?

Thanks!

Kind of a big deal

Doesn't exist.

You can either manually pull a csv, one page at a time... Or set up Syslog to export logging to an external server (under Network-wide > General).

Unfortunate, thank you for confirming!

Hi!

Thank you for the initial answer, I was wondering what is the situation with access to event syslog via API is today? Did they allow it or doesn't exist still?

@Roman_2019 still doesn't exist.

If it was added it would be reflected in the API docs found here: https://api.meraki.com/api_docs

Just to follow up, we released the Event Log via API in November: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api/#/rest/api-endpoints/events/get-network-events

But most customer would rather like it just to be there in the UI.

I mean, all the data is there in the dashboard, its just an UI change.

I really wish they would fix that (yes I call it a fix, because the current solution with only 30 lines is not good).
