When we first launched the MV camera line, we had the most simplified dashboard menu with only "Cameras" and "Video Wall" options to chose from. We've since added options for configuring camera profiles, as well as viewing video access logs. This week, we're adding a new page to make it easier to manage your exports.
The new exports page gives you one spot to view exports from all cameras within your network. This can be especially useful if you need to share a download link with someone after exporting, to check on the status of scheduled or in progress exports, or to download a file after the export is completed. No need to remember if it was the East Entrance 1 or East Entrance 2 camera that you exported video from yesterday - just go to the Exports page and look at your recent exports.
The video exports page contains information on the camera, the user that exported the video, when the export was created, and the time period that the export covers. You can also search for exports based on time, camera name, or filename.
And, because bad things don't always happen in front of one camera, we've added the ability to combine exports from multiple cameras into one file for seamless playback of an entire incident. To do this, simply select the individual exports you want to include, and select the "Combine selected exports" button on the top right of the page.
You can then rearrange the playback order of the files and name the new file. The combined export will contain all of the individual files, with a title card between each one with information on the camera name, date, and time. The new combined file will appear in the video exports table, and can be downloaded or shared via a link, just like any individual file.
