We're setting up a client VPN on an MX84 and when we connect the given IP by the VPN AND the router IP are the same. Is this normal?

Hi,

This is what I understand.

You are trying to connect to MX84 as client VPN from  remote location.

The Client VPN connection is successful.

However when you do a "ipconfig" on your pc. The IP Address and Gateway IP Address is same?

Is my understanding correct?

Not quite ipconfig but when I use the mac network settings it shows me my IP and that of the gateway are the same/

Are you sure?

They should be in the same range but need to be different.

Is your VPN working meaning are you able access resources from your office network?

The IP is the same. Any DNS cached stuff I can access but nothing "new"
