active directory trust through site to site vpn

Has anyone been able to or know if you can establish an active directory trust between 2 organizations through a site to site VPN between 2 Meraki MX appliances or between an MX appliance and a Cisco ASA?

Yes and Yes.

The AD controlers in each organisation need IP connectivity to the AD controllers in the other organisation.
