I have an issues on our network. people cant attach pics or emojis while using Apple iMessage unless we Whitelist them or remove layer 7 firewall rule - Online backup for some reason this seems to work. What risks do I run Whitelisting Pros/Cons or any other things I could do to resolve this iMessage issue?

I'd try to figure out which ports are needed and just open that. Whitelisting is opening up everything, so that's overkill and would be bad from a security standpoint.
