Is there any way or trick to ping GDNS(8.8.8.8) while taking LAN as source.

We are trying to ping GDNS(8.8.8.8) while taking LAN as source, it is not pinging in meraki MX67 also via internet it is pinging. although internet is wroking for LAN users. so want to know reason behind it.

You can't ping using the LAN as a source on the MX.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

If you have any other internal Meraki devices, such as an MR or an MS - you could do the ping from those.

If I'm not mistaken you could in theory use a ThousandEye agent on your MX. A bit overkill imo
