Content filtering - Warning page

Hello,

Apologies if this has been asked before, is there anyway to display a warning page or info page when users try and access a denied category such as social media etc etc.

Currently when they try it its looking like the web page is unreachable

The alternatives raise all sorts of possibilities.

  • does your mother know about this
  • HR has prepared your final pay and non-disclosure agreement
  • security has been advised and are on the way
  • I've told you no good would come of this
  • gross!

unreachable is, in the circumstances, factually correct.

See Meraki Documentation for more info. This should explain it for you.

I also had an issue where my DNS needed to be pointed to the local MX.  May not be your issue but support helped me troubleshoot that one.  Otherwise as @WadeAlsup pointed out.  HTTPS won't show the block message per https://documentation.meraki.com/MX-Z/Content_Filtering_and_Threat_Protection/Content_Filtering/Cont...
