Forklift Upgrade from MX84 to MX100

Sooooo, what's the best way to move from MX84 to MX100? My first thought is just simply removing the MX84 from the network and then adding the MX100 to it.

Hi @TRBO_KCMO , depending on how much downtime you’re allowed is go for Option 1 in the document that @ww supplied as there are less steps involved but longer downtime.  Option 2 allows the Mx to hit the cloud and download its firmware so downtime during migration is less.

I personally prefer the network split method because you can do more while the network remains up before doing the actual upgrade.

Thanks for the replies! I did some testing earlier in the year just for fun, but didn't document it. Luckily I've got an extra MX84 an 2 MX100's to do that prior to the actual upgrade.
