Unable to Update SM Devices Since Hardware License Expired

Several years back, I created a Meraki Dashboard account to use SM on my personal devices and learn a bit about it.  Later, I received a free wireless AP and the 3-year license which I added to my Meraki Dashboard.  Now my free 3-year license has expired and I can't justify buying a license for my test lab at home.  Now I understand that the AP would quit working but since then, I can no longer make any changes to System Manager either.  I'm well under the 100 device limit as I only have 11 devices.

What must I do to restore access to continue to use the free SM portion of Meraki Dashboard?

Thanks,

Drew

Hi Drew

I would contact support. You might to need to unclaim devices maybe.

I wouldn't be surprised if the (now expired) 3-year agreement superseded the free-100 plan you had before. Might have to fork out some more $$$$

Remove the unlicenced devices (AP in this case) from the inventory in the Dashboard to bring you back into licence compliance.
