Getting noticed

SM and MX65X

As mentioned before, I'm also interested in using SM for private (family) use.

So today I started my Free 30 days trial.

My question is: are all the functions available for every system?

My setup us: MX65W - MR30H and MS220-8 switch.

Tried this, in a new profile:

https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Other_Topics/Using_Fast_Lane_with_Systems_Manager

  1. Click + Add Settings and select WiFi to create a wireless payload.

But I do not have the Wifi symbol, only "Restrictions" and "More iOS"

Second question, is the price of SM affordable for private use ?

Many thanks,

LD

I think you need to be using the standalone access points like the MR33 to use Fast Lane.

If Meraki is out of your price point, take a look at Jamf Now. I try not to advertise other products on forums, but it is understandable that you are looking for a home use management that is not a lot of money.

System Manager licenses RRP is around $40 USD per year. A great and highly recommended addition if you already have a Meraki network.

As a side note, it does not have nearly the management feature that Meraki has!
