Managed App Config - Safari or Chrome

Hi all

I'm trying to put some controls on either Chrome or Safari for ipads I want to put in Single App Mode (kiosks).

I want to be able to set the home page and bookmarks, maybe even force private/incognito mode.

Is this possible using managed app config payload?

I found this thread which mentions ManagedBookmarks but I couldn't get it to work, Chrome just loads and no config payload I push does anything.

Is there a list of Keys somewhere I can use? The way the managed app page is designed, it's like you can choose predefined settings, even the field is labelled "choose a key" which the KB here suggests should give you examples you can use but they just don't appear.

I've searched around and tried to find a website that lists app keys, apparently there is a community called https://www.appconfig.org/ which Meraki is a member of that set key and config standards for app deployment.

I also found a page for MacAdmins which has similar keys but for MacOS, not sure if they work but there isn't anything specific to Safari and bookmarks.

I appreciate any help on this, thank you.

It does work on Chrome, but the bookmarks appear under a seperate "Managed Bookmarks" rather than in the main bookmarks in the browser.
