We've had a Meraki MX64 for the last few years and it has been a reasonable performing, reliable unit. The problem is we've grown significantly and the ol' MX64 is struggling.
Currently we have approx. 120 concurrent devices (I know, suggested max is 50) and idle at about 50% device utilization with frequent spike to 100%. Also, we get to use 1/4 of our gigabit internet connection because of a 256 Mbps limitation of the MX64.
So, where should we be looking next? We have limited VPN use (never more than a 2 or 3 concurrent client connections, no site-to-site), but will be exploring that more in the future. We do support some remote workers via RDGW, and that will likely increase as well.
I don't even have a budget yet, because I have no idea what we're facing.
Any suggestions?
