I was introduced to Meraki products in 2016 when a new coworker pointed them out as an up-and-coming company that Cisco had just purchased. I work at a City municipality and we have replaced our access layer and wifi at all the buildings. We have also implemented the easy to connect Meraki VPN teleworker appliances. The always online connectivity and ease of use makes it very easy to train interns and backup support. The only thing I have as an issue I still have not recieved Meraki swag. I even did a Thesis for my english class about Meraki as a vendor I appreciate!
