With MX SD-WAN Plus, users get access to ThousandEyes insights, Smart L7 local internet breakout, performance-based routing, and ML-powered analytics. Meraki Insight provides end-to-end visibility into how users experience a network, providing performance management and troubleshooting with zero setup or configuration required.

This feature looks at 6 key triggers and informs the customers on:

• Root cause of the issue
• The alert generated stating the app problem
• The confidence in the root cause
• The evidence that triggered the alert
• Impact on clients
• Recommended next steps

Meraki Insight is launching Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Web App Health in Public Beta. This feature will help answer the following questions:

1. What triggered application performance issues for a given network

2. What steps should be taken to resolve the problem

 New endpoints have been launched to track Application and Network health with Meraki insights:

1. List all insight tracked applications : GET/organizations/{organization_id}/insight/applications

2. Application health by time : GET/networks/{network_id}/insight/applications/{application_id}/healthByTime

3. The uplink loss percentage and latency in milliseconds, and goodput in kilobits per second for a wired network device.: GET/devices/{serial}/lossAndLatencyHistory

Meraki Insight will now have alerts configurable for WAN and VoIP by navigating to the Insight → Configure → Alerts tab

The alerts management landing page will give a quick overview of alerts being managed and the status of each alert.

"Custom Time range" in MI is now available on WAN, Web, and VoIP health making SD-WAN troubleshooting simple and granular.

VoIP health in Meraki Insight has now added the capability to monitor On-Prem VoIP servers along with Best Effort Monitoring (BEM) to provide VoIP stats for servers that are non-pingable.

Monitoring business-critical web applications just became even easier with Meraki. Simply select the application(s) you want to track and toggle on Smart Thresholds. No thresholds need to be set at all – Smart Thresholds will use machine learning to automatically adjust thresholds for web applications based on the past behavioral patterns and performance for that application and the network it’s been running on.

Meraki Insight VoIP Health feature is now available as GA under Insight tab. This feature is capable of monitoring link performance for VoIP traffic from MX to SIP server. Current function supports all cloud-based VoIP provider whose SIP server IP address or URL is known.
