We are currently using Apple configurator for our enrollment of non DEP devices. We use Meraki hosted accounts for our users (to authenticate to enroll). With our DEP setup the user is required to authenticate to complete enrollment. These is nice because our configuration profiles automatically roll out and the correct apps are assigned to the user before they even get to the home screen. When doing Apple Configurator enrollment, the user is never prompted to enter their credentials to enroll - this makes us manually go into the Meraki Server and assign the user to the device to allow configs to be pushed out. Has anybody come up with a solution to solve this - how are you deploying your devices?
