Mobile app displays other network names and obsolete networks we cannot remove

Dear support, dear all,

Since the beginning we use Meraki equipment which a partner implemented for us, our mobile phone app shows network names which don't exist anymore and we cannot see these at all in the management portal, so through a browser.

Also -as a test- I've just changed the names which were visible in both the web-portal as the mobile app. into a more logical name, some of these are shown in the new format in the app too, but some are still shown in the old(er) format.

Anything we can do to get rid of the unused networks out of the mobile app too, and make the names sync properly of the existing networks? So that both the mobile app as well the webportal show exactly the same networks?

Here both examples, left side the mobile app networks, on the right side the web portal and correct version

Maybe an account which installed all for us initially is n/a anymore so not sure if there is another way to clear the mobile app's network settings?

If anything is unclear or you need more details, please contact me at m.koolen@vtech.com so I can send you some more info.

thanks and kind regards

Marck

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

Have you tried logging out of the mobile app and back in again?

hi Philip,

Yeah (obviously) which sadly didn't sort it. And think I mentioned it already, but just to be sure ; we even could see some network name changes being applied in the app. too, so network name changes done in the management portal. But still the difference(s) in other- and even obsolete network names visible in the app which we don't see in the web portal. Like I added screenshots of in the ticket.

Weird isn't it, hope somebody can help, thanks in advance!

kind regards

Marck
