Can we use one phone number across multiple phones?

Hello,

Is there a way to assign the same public number to multiple phones or do we need to get a public number per phone?

thanks

Not sure if I get it right, but do you mean normal landline phones?

This is possible, using a third party telephone system, so you can tell them to sent the same external number. And also make them all ring when this number is called.

But this won´t work with meraki I assume.

You don't assign the same public number to phones, you have the call path and routing use the main number on outbound calls to use the main number. Vice versa inbound used the main number and then hits a hunt group or ring groups or whatever the solution refers to as a group of phones to ring. If this is related to Meraki MC series I would contact support as alot of the documentation and support info has been removed. It is probably time to get a 3rd party Hosted Voip Solution.
