Port status not right

Has anyone else noticed that ports are not showing green when up some of the time?  Today I plugged four devices and 10-20 minutes later they are still showing as down.  The config changes that were made to the ports are correctly reflected.  Port channel ports also seem to often be down, apart from 1 second or so when you first connect to the switch...

Below is one of the "down" ports:

Have Cisco taken this beyond Monitoring as yet and into the actual management of Cisco devices?

Not as of yet, I think the monitoring needs to be more stable first...

Here to help

I have found it is a bit of a lottery draw on port status when adding Catalyst to Meraki Dashboard. Especially when dealing with Port channels on the 4x10G daughter cards.

A colleague of mine has a customer, where their MS250 will show all ports as dark/disconnected, but the switch is still online, forwarding traffic etc. It ended up getting RMA'ed, but we're convinced it's a Dashboard issue, but the Support Engineer seems to not be convinced, as "everything looked good fomr their perspective".
