Hi all!
Here at Cisco (including Cisco Meraki!), we always look forward to celebrating a New Fiscal Year every August. This fiscal year in particular couldn't have come at a better time. Like every actual Calendar New Year, we look at the Fiscal Year as a time for a fresh start. It's an opportunity to reevaluate, it's a time to be a New You! Yes, here at Cisco Meraki, we double-dip in our New Years and the resolutions that follow, and we'd like you to join us too!
As we go into this new Cisco Fiscal Year, something I'll be conscious about is the notion that change is inevitable. If you've ever read the book "Who Moved My Cheese", -Spencer Johnson, you'll know that the cheese only stays put for so long. A quote from the short but powerful story, “It is safer to search in the maze than to remain in a cheeseless situation” or “See what you're doing wrong, laugh at it, change and do better.”
I think it's safe to say that we've all learned a thing or two from last Fiscal Year. I think it's also safe to say that things are different coming into this new start. Our outlook is different, our experiences are now different, our initiatives are much different. What is not different, however, is in our passion to continue to support those that rely on us. With both Cisco Meraki and you sharing this common goal, it's really up to us to search for this new cheese together.
So with that...what are some of the things you've learned this last Fiscal Year? Is there an area for us to better support you? We'd love to hear directly from you as to how you've had to change, and how that has to lead to new possibilities to better support those that rely on you.
Happy New Fiscal Year from Cisco Meraki!
Steve
