CMNO Program Update

Meraki Employee

Picture1_square.pngCMNO is Becoming ECMS1!

Starting March 5th, 2019, ECMS1 will replace CMNO.

This change is being made to support an exciting new initiative by Cisco Meraki in partnership with Learning@Cisco: the development of the Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS) certification, which will be available in the second half of calendar year 2019!

ECMS1 (Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions 1) is the first of two courses in a new training track to help participants prepare for the CMSS certification. You can find more information on the CMSS certification, the ECMS technical training track, or Meraki's other training opportunities on the Meraki Learning Hub.

Are you currently CMNO-certified?

As the CMSS certification will become the standard to recognize those who have achieved Specialist-level expertise with Cisco Meraki solutions, we will be retiring the Meraki CMNO certification on December 31, 2019

While we are excited to announce this change to the CMNO program, we understand the expiration of the CMNO certification might be disappointing for you and apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note that the ECMS1 content is the same as the CMNO content, so your participation in the CMNO course gives you a head start in preparing for the upcoming certification if you choose to pursue it (and we hope you will!). Find more information on attending our advanced training course, ECMS2, and more on the CMSS certification here.
