DHCP "no_offers_received" Errors in the Event Log

Have a network that has run without issue for 2 years now.

mx64 doing dhcp.

2 vlans

access points in 192 range

WiFi clients on 10.x range

Over the last 7 weeks at roughly 1am - 2am the event log fills with DHCP “no_offers_received”  errors.

the access points all go offline at the same time.

i need to reboot the poe switches in order to bring the access points back online again.

there is plenty of IP addresses so it’s not running out of ips

the access points and switches are none Meraki.

problem happens roughy every 7 days but did have 1 period of 2 weeks without issue.

whats people’s thoughts?

I should also say, the DHCP “no_offers_received”  errors. are all on the 10 range, but the accsss points are on the 192 range.

access points go offline also

The no offers event can occur when the DHCP DORA process doesn't complete. It doesn't necessarily mean the scope is out of IPs. So in this case I'd assume it's simply a by product of whatever else is causing issues in your network.

I'd recommend you work with Meraki Support to figure out what's going on.
